Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, Washington, seeks talented professional in the position of ARNP, Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant for Inpatient Neurosurgery Acute Care.

Position currently open is for 90% FTE, evenings/nights shifts.

The ARNP or PA for the Department of Neurological Surgery is responsible for comprehensive acute inpatient care, including neurosurgical and internal medicine management. Care is provided for the neurologically injured patient in a dynamic, active, ever-changing environment at the region’s only Level I Trauma Center. Work is performed in collaboration with attending physicians, neurosurgeons, residents and internal medicine hospitalists. This is a full time position with six 12 hour shifts every two weeks, there is no call for this position and there are no surgical responsibilities.

The Department of Neurological Surgery at Harborview Medical Center provides patient care services for a broad range of neurological diseases and disorders at the four University of Washington affiliated hospitals in Seattle, Washington. The Department is also the primary referral center for patients with complex neurological conditions and neurological trauma in the five state WWAMI region, as well as the tertiary referral center for national and international patients. In addition, the Department has one of the premier academic training programs in the world and maintains an active, cutting-edge research program ranging from basic science and translational research to a broad array of clinical trials.
