Description | SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Examines patients. Diagnoses injuries and illnesses. Provides treatment. Works as members of the health care team. Assesses patients’ health and their demands and aim to fulfil them as well as possible. Issues appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine. Informs physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise. Acquires and reviews patient histories identifying abnormal conditions. Monitors patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events. Attends to emergencies. Provides help during surgeries. Prepares patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer injections etc.). Provides therapeutic treatments (disinfecting wounds, stitching etc.) Cultivates a climate of trust and compassion for the patients. Complies strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards.
