Surgical Physician Assistant

Medical Center located in Wheeling, WV has an immediate need for a Physician Assistant. Position would primarily be 1st assisting on a wide variety of surgical cases. Hours would be 6:30am to 3pm Mon-Friday with some call. Experienced candidates or new graduates with a passion for surgery are welcome to apply. Group offers competitive compensation package.

Job Requirements:
Identifies and manages medical and surgical problems within the Physician Assistant's scope of practice in a surgical/inpatient setting.
Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Current Ohio and West Virginia Physician Assistant Licensure or eligible within 90 days of hire.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and take appropriate actions.
